The First JCIA LRI Award Winner Selected
As part of the activities in the Long-range Research Initiative to encourage (foster) researchers, Japan Chemical Industry Association (JCIA) has established from this fiscal year the “JCIA LRI Award” at the Japanese Society of Toxicology (JSOT President: Dr. SunaoManabe) to award researchers who have achieved superior research results in the effects of chemical on human health and environment, and the first awardee has recently been determined as follows:
9th Responsible Care Award Winners Selected
The chemical industry has been promoting Responsible Care®, in which member chemical companies voluntarily secure environment, safety, and health as pertains to their operations, publicly announce the results of the activities, and communicate with society throughout the life cycles of chemicals from development to production, distribution, use, final consumption and disposal.
39th Annual Safety Award Winners Selected
Japan Chemical Industry Association (JCIA, Chairman: Yoshimitsu Kobayashi, Chairman of Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings) had recently reviewed a number of chemical facilities for the 39th Annual Safety Awards and selected the winner of the Grand Prize (one company) and the First Prize winners (four companies).
47th Annual JCIA Technology Award Winners Announced
Japan Chemical Industry Association (JCIA, Chairman: Yoshimitsu Kobayashi, Chairman of Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings) has announced the winners of its 47th Annual Technology Awards for innovative scientific technologies and products that have substantially contributed to the development of not only the chemical industry but also the society as a whole as well as to the improvement of the environment.
