This WG collects information on safety issues and regulatory trends, extracts issues, disseminates information to member companies, and make proposals and offer external opinions as needed.

• a.Safety evaluation methods for new chemical substances such as nanomaterials and regulatory trends in Japan and overseas
• b.Domestic and overseas regulatory trends related to endocrine disruptors
• c.Collection of international trends and scientific knowledge on the marine plastic issue
• d.Other emerging chemical safety issues and regulatory trends

Information obtained and issues identified through activities are shared with LRI (Long-range Research Initiative) to support LRI activities in the planning of research subjects, orientation of research, and evaluation of research projects.
